Vladimir Makuc is the CEO at Illumina Solutions.

He holds a university degree in business economics and has over 23 years of experience in electronic communications. He began his career at a startup ISP, where he handled various calculations, business plans, new service implementations, project management, and regulatory affairs. He was in charge of carrier relations and regulatory affairs department while being a member of the company's management team. He led the carrier relations team dealing with several domestic and foreign telecoms on different fields of cooperation including voice termination and trading. He participated in negotiating interconnection agreements with operators such as Deutsche Telekom, Telekom Austria A1, Telia, A1 Slovenia, Telekom Slovenije, Telemach (United Group) among others.

He participated in establishing a new daughter ISP company in a neighboring country, participated two times in M&A process, and various due diligence processes. Since 2015, he has been advising a company developing Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) systems on business development, sales, and management. He was hired by the European Court of Auditors as an expert to consult on broadband funding impacts. In addition to business aspects, he also has extensive experience in navigating R&D process from the customer perspective. He led a project developing a decentralized ventilation product generating high profit margin (still growing) and was involved in development of multiple IoT products. He is passionate about new technologies and combines this with his expertise in business and economics. This has provided him with extensive experience in the telecommunication business and other areas of product development, sales, and management.

Pavle Mikuz is the Director of Business Development at Illumina Solutions.

He is a seasoned telecommunications professional specializing in sales and business development, with over 20 years of experience in the industry. He has a robust background working at a Tier 1 ISP in Europe on the technical team, where he honed his skills in network infrastructure and service delivery. His career advanced as he became the head of global sales at AIR Wireless, overseeing the global market and driving significant growth. Additionally, during his tenure at Harmonic, Pavle excelled as the sales lead for the DACH region and Western Europe, where he successfully expanded market presence and built strong client relationships.

Throughout his career, Pavle has built a substantial network within the telecommunications industry, leveraging his technical expertise and strategic acumen to drive business development. His roles at United Group, Harmonic and AIR Wireless equipped him with a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer needs, enabling him to deliver tailored solutions that drive business success. Pavle is passionate about leveraging his extensive experience and industry connections to foster innovation, enhance customer satisfaction, and propel companies to new heights in the competitive telecom landscape.
